Engine cowl removal question
I didn't know where to post this but I just got my P-X and I washed it from the drive home and staring to dig into it - got all the bolts (5) removed from the engine cowl, broke it loose, had to cut a zip tie attaching a hose to the engine coolant (strange) and there's an accordian type hose hooked to a vent just under the seat handle. How best to disconnect that? Last ski was an '04 RXP and so this is a new addition to me.

Man...where is it in there? Give me a hint, is there a picture? Is it in the 20s, 30s, 40s, or near pages 51 and 52 like in the 800 and something post? I have narcolepsy and I've already nodded off a dozen times looking for it.

I just pulled it out. Get it off the cowling and then just pull it out. I definitely will not be putting it back.

So just separate that accordian hose from the fixed piece on the cowling? I guess it is just slipped over a ridge.
