    Opinions on 4 Tec camshafts

Interested in the performance gains that have been observed with the Rotax Racing 4224 and the PPG camshafts. Are they more noticeable in the mid to high RPMs ?

That is exactly where you will notice it. A Riva or RR ECU is a must, as most of the power is made at and above 7k RPM's.

I have been running the 4424 cam in my skis since 04 and love it. Definitely more power in the higher RPM's.

You have to advance it slightly though. You know you have it right once you have 135 psi of compression.
