Intercooler kit question
I was looking at the intercooler kit and was wondering besides the hose fittings (2 brass 90's and the thru hull fittings and the inline tee) what is that inline piece that looks like a jetworks relief valve, and what does it do? Other than that it looks lIKE it would be very cheap to put one together. Am I right?

The valve is not a jetworks valve, jet works open at a much lower pressure 2-4 psi i think.
The r&d valve regulates the water pressure that enters the intercooler. This is important with the r&d kit as water enters the intercooler directly from the pump and the pressure variances could actually ruin your intercooler causing it to leak water into your engine.
I suppose you could make your own kit but it isnt really a good idea to run it without the valve.
