    Hi

Sorry I can't think of a good handle for my alias.
I have been riding for 2 years. I get out on Lake Ontario mostly (15 minutes from my driveway until I'm sitting in the water)
My first machine was a 96 Sea Doo XP. Still my favourite. For sale this summer.
Last year I bought a 99 Polaris slx. For sale this summer.
I also own but have never rode:
    - a Polaris MSX 150 (couch) - for sale this summer - too complicated.
    - an 01 Polaris Virage (sporty 3 seater)- currently getting an MSX 1200 motor and 44mm blackjack carbs installed
    - a 99 Polaris Genesis (4 seater - brick) currently getting the Virage 1200 motor installed. (Fuel injected) I ordered a performance chip
    - a 99 Polaris 785 with a 1050 motor. The remaining 1200 (Genesis) motor will go into this eventually. I have a set of 46mm blackjack carbs for this motor but will first do a port and polish.

I am staying away from triple pipes. I am no mechanic. I want simple, reliable but reasonably fast boats. If I can get 150 - 160 hp out of small fast boats (the 2 and 3 seater) than I will be happy with that.

When I am finished I will have a 2, 3 and 4 seater this summer. I have 3 kids and a typical weekend involves me towing a tube with 2 kids on it and a kid spotter. We go camping and bring the skis with us or to friends cottages. So I am looking forward to the 4 seater for that stuff. It is also a large stable ride that my wife will be comfortable on. If I go out with a friend I can take the 3 seater and the 2 seater and still have a good ride.

I am still looking for a couple of parts - I have listed in the WTB section of the Polaris classifieds. 2 fuel rails, flame arrestors for the 44 mikunis and intake manifolds. PM me if you want to part with any of these seemingly priceless parts.

    See you out there.

    james

Welcome Too James, Sounds like you'll have some killer toys this year. Did you do the 1050 conversion in the 785?Love to see the pictures. Also what Chip are you getting for the Virage motor?

You'll enjoy this site, the best Polaris guys in the country waste their time here.

    Welcome for sure!
You have been riding for two years, and you have six PWC already! Selling three, but still...

I must ask, why so many engine changes among your Polaris models?

You are selling your SLX, but you're going to put a 1200 engine in the Pro785 hull, which already has a 1050?
Is that Pro 1050 an enlarged Fuji, or a red domestic 1050?

Which of your engines are Ficht fuel injected?
Just the Virage motor that is going into the Genesis?

What 'performance chip' are you talking about for Ficht? I didn't think there was an effective one available.

And a carburetor conversion of an injected MSX motor - interesting. Triple pipes too?

Do you do your own engine swaps?

    Welcome to the Hulk....

Engine swaps, 46mm carb swaps, and you're no mechanic?????

Get the trippples if you want high HP, it's like a turbo for a 2 stroker.
