    Compression?

I heard that the compression on Cylinder 1 and 2 are the same and on Cylinder 3 the compression is lower? Is this true? Also is it worth while to bump up Cylinder 3 and make it the same? Any comments would be great.

Yes this is true. Number 3 seems to seize easier & run hotter, therefore the compression is lower.

Is there a way to raise the compression in just Cylinder #3? If so is it worth the trouble?

Only if you had the Riva Heads which are separate.I wouldn't bother though if I were U.The 3rd head should read approx. 5 p.s.i. less than the other twoon average and if it's 10 or more there is a problem.

I was just trying to point out that the 12r's are not this way (I did not see a model listed anywhere). I am also not so sure the 03 and 04 skis were either.

ALL the 1300r's have a larger dome on the rear cyl.03-08
The 1200r's domes were/are all the same volume on all 3 cylinders.
