    Adjustable BOV Questions

    Question #1
Does anyone (Skip) know what the valves come set at from R&D?

I am waiting For the test kit and they are the last parts to go on so I can drop them in the water, wanted to know what they were at. I can adjust them later if they are close to where the need to be.

    Question #2 see pictures below
Does it mater if I invert the valve. There is alot of room to the rear. The filter is very close if I install it as it should be.

    Question #3
The brass (what looks to be) vaccum port....what, where or is that to be hooked up to something?

    Thanks,
    Marc

I'm still waiting for adjustable R & D BOV while waiting I want to ask some more questions
    1. Does the BOV come with the filter? the blue one show in your picture
    2. Shall I order a new gasket and replace the used one?
    3. What do you think about the cool air filter kit does it help to keep my hot air escape and get cooler engine compartment? I guess I have to order a full kit including the BOV filter

It comes with the filter and a new gasket. Cool air is a good thing, so the cool air kit doesn't hurt.

Does not really matter, but I preface that with the assumption the vacuum port will be used.

Not, if you are talking about the difference from picture one to two.

Probably they are not going to have you use it. Why? I have no idea because without using it what you have is no different than the factory one. It should be connected to manifold pressure, under boost the port will hold the valve closed when the throttle closes manifold vacuum/intercooler pressure will force the valve open to overcome spring pressure.

    Thanks,
    Marc

The Bov's are installed but not tuned. I am waiting on the test kit as it has been on back order. My impression is they are tuned pretty tight so you can see what numbers I hit on my project thread.
