    RIVA ECU's for 08 and X models

The RIVA 07 ECU will work on 08 skis including X models. Just wanted to give you X guys a heads up as i know since we cant use the RRFPR on the 08 models this gives us an alternative for additional fueling.

That's good news, but won't be doing this until after the "free" 3 year warranty runs out.

Jerry, what ECU (Rotax/Riva)would you recommend as far as performance for an RXP-X? Also do you have to have a Rotax ECU activated by B.U.D.S like Riva.

Rotax is a plug and play ECU the Riva needs programmed by your local dealer and VOIDS your warranty! the Rotax DOES NOT have knock control the Riva DOES have knock control. good luck!

So when I get my Riva ECU I have to take it to the dealer to have it programmed for my RXP? Does it need to be installed when this is done? I thought you could just plug it in and go.

The dealer has to activate your Riva ECU with the BUDS software.
