Of the 4 products I have of theirs, it is.

Poorly casted, non flat surfaces, parts that don't fit, and out of round.

So unfortunately for me, it's true.

Design is great on many products but quality control has suffered over the years. Not much choice so gotta live with it.

My trim tabs are WAVY. They are not flat. One corner is BENT as if someone dropped it at the factory. It was packaged this way because the packaging is fine. I need to true the surfaces and I don't have the machinery (most don't) to do that.

My steering nozzle did not fit because it was out of round. Installation would bind it solid to the trim ring and you couldn't steer. I had to coax it (read: beat) with a rubber mallet to return it to proper spec. Now it works fine.

The PPK had to be sanded to get it to fit. It was "overpoured" and all the plugs were too big. One plug however was underpoured and was way too small. About only 80% as tall as it needed to be.

The grates I don't need to get into, we all know about that.

So yes, the quality control sucks. Seems like no one simply cares over there. We still buy it anyway so go figure.

I'd be embarrassed to put my name the stuff they sold me.
