    Do not start!?

I tried to start my gp1200r today.. and it wouldnt start
I have not start it since october.
I tired a couple of times today, untill the battery died
What should i do to make it start easy ? Is this normal when it just have stayed in the garage for several of months ?
I will start to charge my battery

There are many things that can keep an engine from starting.

The first thing that I would do is make sure that it is getting fuel. Pull a couple of spark plugs and put about a teaspoon of fuel into each of the spark plug holes. Put the plugs back in and wires back on and pull the carburetor choke out.

Start it as normal, pulling the gas throttle. If the engine does start, push the choke back in.

If it attempts to start, but fails to, then put a bit more fuel and try again.

Let us know how it goes from here and give us more details about symptoms.

1200 gpr YEP! I do remember this. they are a bitch to start at season. YEP.. I was so ticked one time I lost my cool.. after getting it started, I ran it WIDE OPEN ACROSS THE LAKE with the engine not warmed up!!!! Thinking " I WILL WARM YOU UP YOU COLD BLOODED HARD STARTING SON OF A GUN!...
Shortly after thinking that. THe MOTOR WENT BANG!.
Yep I showed that ski..... It turned a ring....Cost me a alot of money for being STUPID!

With my carbed skis. I ALWAYS dump a teaspoon of fuel down each cylinder if they haven't been started in a week or so.
It is just easyer on everything. they start right up and then everybody is happy!

Maybe not normal but certianly not out of the ordinary. I would try some fuel in the spark plug holes like Salty said and give her another try.

Yep, she needs priming as it's dry as a bone. You should of been charging that battery all winter by the way, you may end up needing a new one.
