    remove flywheel from crankshaft

    my crankshaft is out of the crankcase, is it possible to remove the flywheel from crankshaft ?? if so how to do it ??

    I use an impact wrench, my battery one works fine. Sometimes you have to lightly tap the hub of the flywheel with a small brass hammer.

    Ya, theres that too. Make sure nothing is going to bounce off the floor or your feet when it comes lose.

    i got an impact wrench so ill try with it, i need to block crank while using the impact ?

    Doesn't usually take much, I can hold it by hand.

    You may also want to put a small socket at the end of that puller small enough to go inside the flywheel.... I have the same style puller and if your not really careful it will mangle the threads in the crank. I think I did actually piss myself the first time one popped on me... Sounds like a gun shot!

    i had the same pb, one popped on me lol, I used a powerfull impact wrench and i coudnt remove it, should i tap the flywheel with a mallet ??

    At the hub as close to the crack as possible.
