Mike great stuff you have balls of steel doing 80 plus in superman back to back,no helmet, and running the shit 800 grate,i would hold back a bit and put the ski on the shelf till the new grates come out as i dont want to see a close friend which is like a brother of mine end up in a wheel chair or even worse,i now i have done the same thing at 85mph but after seeing that movie million dollar baby with clint eastwood i am not going to end up like that over some speed runs untill the new grates come out,you have nothing to prove please take it easy,or wear some good protective clothing, helmet ect

    Great job Mike!!!!

Boat looked pretty solid with nice angle the first couple runs and didn't seem to start bouncing until the water became a little chopped up.

Thanks to Damo (Autosport) this new spot is my testing ground no current in the water so does nt matter which way you run the ski same result thats what you call perfect place to test.

The second run i had less shims in the tabs lost speed and bounced Duke going back out and trying what you said less angle on the plate with less shims on the tabs or flat against the hull.

New settings will be 930 and 910 will post result and get a shot of the GPS this time silly me.

I have to thank everyone that has helped me to get here you all know who you are and my good friend Lowell you ROCK.

Not sure why but my ski looses speed once the rpms go over 7150rpm spoke to Lowell about it he was nt sure as well the more i cut the rpms back the ski goes faster.
Speed is always over the 80mph when revs are around 7050 to 7150 i can get revs up to 7240 no gains and yes i ve pitched up same result likes lower rpms band this is on a 05 non power valve engine.
    Current set up is
    15/25
    .980 plate
    .120 tabs
    85mm
    800
    Free Flow
7040rpms 80.8mph backed it up 3 times that day.
