Thread: Which battery?

  1. #1

    Which battery?

I've got 2 - 2000 GTX RFI, Sea Doo dealer in St Augustine says 20 amp per hour battery only comes in acid filled, no gel. I have a CLB16 Gel battery in the other one. Will that battery work? or do I have to have 20 amp. And if so where do I find a 20 amp sealed battery around Jax, Fl.

the Odyssey PC625 also works... direct replacement for the YB16CLB, and is a sealed AGM military grade battery with a 2 year warranty and excellent shelf storage characteristics

BS.... gel or AGM batteries are FAR better than acid-lead. Longer life, able to be fully drained and stand up to vibration better. I like Deka.

RB, call Sunn Batteries. If they don't have it then you don't need it!

Deka or BigCrank (also a Deka) AGM bats are only way to go - can sit 2 yrs w/o charge - 8+ yr life - just did a ton of research on replacing the YUSA in both my 4-tec's - Deka owners swear by them - and so does military ...

this is what I use....works great. Another note, I disconnect any battery in the RFI for long term storage. Otherwise you need to leave it on a trickle charger for optimum performance. I use a Waterproof Battery Tender...($40 IIRC)

Anyone know where I can get an Odessey or Deka in Canada? Specifically Toronto.
