why do you install a straight pipe on a 250x is it an advantage or it's just for the sound?

it eliminates the waterbox i think it's mostly for sound but there may be a holeshot gain... na sure..maybe one of the kawi guru's will chime in.

    I run a straight pipe

You are able to lighten your ski by 30-40 pounds by removing both water boxs and less back pressure I didnt notice much more power but there was a little gain

and the sound is amazing...I get complements all the time
