Virage I 2002 Starting Issues
My ski starts but it takes about ten min of hitting the starter on the first start of the day. Once going it is good for the day but when it cools down or sits over night it just is a pain to get running anyone have any ideas? I notice the plugs are oily when this is going on. Should I use a plug that is a little hotter?

Check your fuel pressure when cold, it may be that the system allows the fuel to drain back into the tank and it takes quite the while for it to pump up.

what color starting solenoid do you have? is it black or brown? also will the ski stay running if you keep holding down the start button when running?

p.s. DO NOT MESS WITH THE HEAT RANGE OF THE PLUGS!!!!!

Is it actually cranking when you try top start or is it ticking ?.If it isn't cranking over then Bridge across the start solenoid and see if it starts straight up .Do it out of the water and be firm when bridging the solenoid to lessen sparks .The brown solenoid is the newer style .
More info is needed .Describe it well and we can help you more

Check your battery voltage while cranking .It should not get below 10.5 volts ..Charge it and try to start it then .
