    Stock IC is not fitting

I just got a new o-ring for the stock IC on my 04 RXP and having trouble fitting it all the way in. I put a new o-ring on the front and went to slide the IC back in and it wont get past the little bump that you feel when the front and rear rings get in there little grove. I done want to beat on it, for the front is plastic and it may crack it and leak. I tride taking a small 1x2 wood board and put a little more leverage on it and no go. Will I have to remove the entire intake from the ski???

make sure it's lined up inside too (the edge on the throttle body side) Takes a litte manuvering, but it'll fit.
