    Intake Reeds

    Do I need to put on any gasket sealer on the intake reeds when reassmeble my intake. I'm working on a 2001 Polaris Virage TX with a 1200 carb engine

    No, but some guys I've read use a little litheum grease.

    The factory reeds have a seal that is part of the reed cage,you could feel rubber on the sealing surface.

    Aftermarket reeds (V-Force) require a gasket.
