My MSX seat weighs a gazillion billion pounds...

Or so it seems. Probably close to 30lbs.

I would like to find out where to get the high density, lightweight foam used in the gpr seat and replace that monster block of lead weight...

    Any ideas?

Certainly sounds like it wound up in water. I have a spare non soaked seat as well, I'll weigh it up as well.

The seat on my wife's limited class Pro 785 soaked up water and weighed a ton also. The former owner removed the stock seat cover when they installed the Hydro Turf cover. The only advantage was it help the Pro stay hooked up in really rough water.

Hey, I wasn't far off. Wonder if it's the foam or the plastic?

    its the plastic

I used to work at Polaris on the seat foam line and the foam "bun" isn't that heavy probably like 8-10lbs

Very old post, but welcome to the Hulk MSX140ho.

Hydro, if you haven't found any of the lightweight foam, Randy had some for sale a while back.

I wonder where Justin went, I bet he had some cool Polaris info if he worked on the line.
