Should I go new, or older and mod?

I am new to the Seadoo world. I just sold my 07 snowmobile and moved from Colorado to North Carolina. Would I be better off finding some 05 or newer and modding or go new with a warranty?

ps, here's a pic of my sled and a hazard I no longer have to watch for.

yeah I know, I saw the prices on new. I really like the new X but have been thinking also if I could find a deal on 2 05's or 2 06's with a trailer.

That wont be a problem at all. There are usually guys on here selling skis from time to time. Keep an eye on the classifieds!

My bad I thought they were made with stronger parts but there not just a bigger shaft. NICE looking ski's.

I Picked Up An 04 Rxp With 30 Hrs On It. Couldn't Pass On The Price. Absolutely No Regrets. Maybe Just Me But I Love The Green & Black.

Getting Used You Will Have More $ For Mods Which Is Almost As Much Fun As Riding. There Are Some Threads On What To Watch For When Buying Used, Do A Search.
