    Lookie what I got...

Yeah, I'm excited to finally have this little device. I have a Garmin GPS V unit and just got this handlebar mount

Pictures of it mounted later this evening.

That works a lot better than trying to hold it while you ride!!

You are not joking! I tried to put in my lifevest while riding and that just didn't work!!

I like how unobtrusive the mount is....without the GPS on there, you don't really notice it. With it on, it is out of the way, yet easily read.

Sorry for the bad pics, I think my digital camera is finally giving out.

If anyone is looking for GPS mounts, or mounts for basically anything check out http://www.ram-mount.com/. I had one I bought for mine years ago to use in an airplane and it worked just fine on the ski.

put your garminV wrist loop around the backside of the mount. If something breaks, your unit won't hit the water.

Believe it or not, I prefer the 3+ over the V due to the ease of bringing up the large numbers.

I was thinking about putting some sort of safety loop just incase something breaks but it seems pretty sturdy. I don't plan on using it other than on smooth water to see how fast I'm getting up to.
