    2 94 polaris sl 750's

i found two 94 polaris sl 750s with a 2 place trailer for 1900. they have around 140 hours on them, but one has needs a new crank bearing, and is torn apart. what would be a good price for these, they look to be in good condition from the pictures, but am going to go look in person this weekend. i was thinking maybe offer 1500 and see what he says

Welcome to the Hulk! The trailer should be worth $500.00,A good running stock 750 should be worth $600.00 to a $1000,00. So $1500.00 with one needing work would be a good buy.

thanks for the help. is the crank bearing hard to replace if thats all thats wrong with it? im pretty good with tinkering around with things, ive rebuilt a mustang motor before so i think i could handle it. btw my first ski was a kawasaki 650 sx. its such a fun ski, but i would like to take a passenger. i was thinking about maybe retro-fiting a 900 engine into the 750 that needs work if it needs a lot.

Replacing a bearing on a crank has to be done in a machine shop that knows what there doing. It can't be done at home.Good used cranks can be bought for 150.00 and up, rebuilts run about 300.00

so maybe a lower price would be good, i dont really want to spend a lot of money having an over 10 year old machine serviced. and with the bearing bad there might be other things bad with the motor

Umm, yeah. The most expensive motorcycles I've owned were always the "bargains".... Same with my SL650/750....

You keep the running one and part out the other one to pay for the package. It may be a better deal to do that then pump money into the dead ski.

if i were to part out the ski, how much would i be looking to get out of it?

Best bet is take a look at E-Bay at what the parts go for. The market picks up in the summer.Too had to guess without seeing or knowing whats good or not.
