Bought My first JetSki *Pro1200*
Want to introduce myself to this forum. My name is chris and am located in syracuse, ny (pm me if your in the area! ) and just purchased a low hr polaris pro 1200 2seater from my local dealer. Payed 3500 out the door w/tax , registration and trailer. Here are some pictures:
For some of your more experiance riders. Any words of advice ? Anything i should look for on this jetski ? Ive done my homework and found that this thing is a rocket and is quite reliable if taken care of. Please let me know : )

Welcome to the Hulk!! You definitely came to the right place to protect that investment! Awesome looking ski. Let us know how fast it is.
If you're new to jetskis, take the time to do a lot of due diligence building your knowledge base of jetskis in general and Polaris in particular. A lack of knowledge can lead to big $$$ mistakes.
When I was newer at this, I spent hours reading every thread looking for nuggets of wisdom. That really paid off. I couldn't have done it without the great people on this site.

Welcome to the Hulk!
Looks like a fresh trailer too. Any plans for the second set of bunks (another Polaris, perhaps)?
Which model year Pro 1200?
Any modifications or upgrades?
Is this your first PWC?
Have you been riding PWC previously?

In bone stock form the pro 1200 is VERY reliable ski.....it has the pro 785 bottom hull for more aggressive handling..and a pretty smooth powerband..

Welcome! You came to the right place,Get ready to enjoy one of the most interesting rides you've had in a while(here amongst the brotherhood of Polaris Nuts), and the ski will be a Blast too.

Recently pick up one of these as well. Doing some minor adaptations, one thing I have learned is to check out the thread (computer) on hood attachment issues. It's recent so it should be easy to find. The stock hood latch system is wacked and would cause the hood to come off while riding and could cause you some personal harm and at least expense (really expensive) hood replacement.
Seat has a tendency to pop off in the rear as well, adjust it down as tight as you can.
By the way very nice ski!
