    buckshot magnum 44 \spec2 carb settings

    i may decide to put the extra spec2 with race chamber magnum 44 ( linkage style not shaft to shaft) r\d direct port intake on my 96 xp ...any have the carb settings and pop off pressure for those carbs ?what i have written down is 135 low and 110 high with 80 gram spring ...sound about right ?

    I think that sounds right...i have 46mm Buckshots with the linkage not the fuel rail with the Spec two. I'm out of town this weekend but I'll double check when I get home.

    well thanks for the info ..dont go ripping your ski apart to see what you got in there ...i thought they had a web site somewhere it had tuning specs for thos carbs ..well atleast a starting pont ...

    ok, I got my paper work out and with my 46mm carbs I have 2.5n/s, 80 gram springs, 120 pilots and 137.5 mains.

    That jetting sounds close I would get some 115 and 120 mains too but 135 low fo sho

    whos jetting?? mine or his? WaterWorx did mine...fyi. do i need to bump it?

    I usually end up with 135 pilot, 120 to 125 mains...

    Needle and seat depending on how it feels in the water, but 2.3 & 80 gram spring is a safe bet.

    2.5 would be too low. They almost always leak due to vibration at idle. I'd get 2.3s like previously recommended.
