Another WFO EFI 1300 breaks 80

Yesterday the GPR went 80.1, at 7180. It was 72 degrees with low humidity. It's not going to do it in the heat, but it was nice to see the number. I would like to thank WFO for the advice and for coming down when I first got the ski and doing the tunnel reinforcement, and all the other little things that took us 12 hours. The guy is a wrench animal. When he gets in the zone with the Makita its best to just stay out of his way. Also Fullboogie has helped me out and we have had some awesome rides together.

I also want to thank TheDome for helping me seal the pump shoe and for laying on your back with me tweaking the ride plate.

Yamahatoys a.k.a Dollarbill, is next. He is probably hitting 80 as I type this. He is out testing right now with TheDome, its 50 degrees this morning.

Something interesting about my set up is the plate is only at 860. The tabs are at 55. Ever since we sealed and set the pump shoe (recessed) I can't get anymore angle without the front of the plate hanging below the shoe. Time to grind on the bosses??

One more person to thank, KirkF350, for letting me borrow the 800 grate.

Good job Brandon. I need to get all of my projects done and get my wifes '06 down there and let WFO tinker with it a little bit. It only has 5.? hours on it and its time to start getting aggressive with the tuning. It wont be in the 80 MPH club, but I would like it to run in the mid to upper 70's.

Great job!!! Over 80 and didn't drop the GPS.

Don't worry, it gets easier and I'm sure Rich has a few more tricks up his sleeve.

No I did not drop the GPS, but Todd dropped his yesterday after a record run. Luckily he has an amphibian brother-n-law who swam down and found it.

    Nice job Brandon !

Yes we need to grind on the bosses some (and maybe the pump/nozzle) to get a little more angle.

I am happy with it. In the world of GPR's there is always going to be someone faster. You have to learn to be satisfied with what you got.
