    '98 GP800 Motor Removal

I need to remove my motor to do some motor repair work and to install wave eater clips, I removed the pipe, carbs, and unbolted the motor from the hull, but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the electrical wires that connect the motor to the electrical box in the back. Not sure what else is running underneath the exhaust pipe that would not allow me to remove the engine (something is getting caught when trying to lift the motor out of the hull), any help is appreciated...
