Paing or Gel Coating Top Deck
Just wondering what the opinions are?
I am handy with everything and have sprayed a lot of things with cheap spray guns but nothing like a "finished" product.
My thought is to use a prewaxed gelcoat because my thinking is that it does not have to be 100% perfect since it has to be sanded and buffed so much.
Has anyone ever done this or should I just find a professional painter and spray some sort of really kick ass paint?
I do like the gel coat because if you scratch it you can wet sand and buff.
Could some of you painting guys chime in?

Also I don't want to pay a fortune as a gallon of gelcoat is less than $150.
