    black silicone

is clear silicone caulk as good as the black stuff, for assembling pump wedge? blockoffs
i am also putting OPAS blockoffs on, i have "ultra black", is that the same as the "right stuff"???
i want to use clear silicone in teh pump, and save the ultra black for hull seals, opas holes ,, thru hull exhaust, etc, where its visible

I use the ultra black for everything....
Jerry and other guys like the "right stuff" and it is not the same as silicone. It holds and fills nicely but it's expensive. I just like the ultra black for myself.

I prefer "Right Stuff" for the blockoffs, rideplate etc. I do not put anything on the pump wedge.

how are you guys sealing the bailer tubes when installing the wedge, i left original o rings inbtween reduction nozzle and wedge, but now i got nothing btw wedge and pump?? looks like theres space for o rings or grommets or something??
just silicone around the bailer tube area and leave the rest of the interface dry??

That is what I did. But I am far from an expert.

I did not use anything on the bailer tubes, but as of yesterday I no longer have them anyhow.
