    This Thing Better Haul Ass!

Just finished with all my mods... Everything went well and fairly
easy EXCEPT the Rotax Racing Intercooler..
    What a PITA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I had to do it all over again I would NOT put in the external
    Intercooler.
I had to cut , chop, order different slicones, etc etc.
    The intake block off---sucked!
Finally gave up on putting it in with the O-ring supplied with it.
Looked closely and found in my opinion, that would not work
with regular O ring.. My oem i/c has the flat multi grooved rubber
    on each side..
SO I just siliconed a nice bead around it... Let it set up a few mins.
then installed with oem clamp retainer.

On the other end, nothing seemed to fit as it should.
Had to do a LOT of extra work I did not think would
be necessary to get a "kit" complete to work out.

    Just venting..
Finally going to be over 70* here tomorrow. Water is still only 50*.

Still haven't even started the engine on this new thing yet..

Nice!! I greased the hell out of the o-ring on the block off. Spun and tapped it in with a rubber mallet. If you do an IC again, just dont do the Rotax. Go for an XS. Im gonna go to Hillsdale tomorrow I guess. I just got mine completely done an hour ago. Man the impeller swap was cake!

I will either go to Hillsdale to avoid some stumps OR
    down to the usual Pomona.
If we go to Hillsdale , I'll look for you.
I will be with either 1 or 2 blue Kawi Ultra 250's and
of course on my Red 07 RXT..
Still gotta button up seat brace/ seats, little junk like that.

Like I said, everything was usual (done all before) except that
    friggin intercooler

Send me a PM or something if you decide to go. I may not go till a bit after noon. That way I know it will be at least slightly warm.

befor you talk BS, you should have ordered all the parts not just half !!!!!

the ROTAX RACING IC has the best fit on the market, if you use the ROTAX RACING plumming kit ( you could have ordered it from Jerry )

your silicon mixup will not work a long time, so better get the RR pipes., that how it should look like :

It looks like that IC would be a PITA to make up some metal IC pipes.

He is running the intercooler with completely stock exhaust so the rotax pipe or any for that matter would not work.
With the resonaotor in place i dont think any complete setup will work without modifying.
I dont think foggy was talking shit about the setup or ic. correct me if i am wrong foggy.
