Bridge To Bridge 4/5/08 (Sydney Australia)
Hi guys thought ill start a little threat one of Sydneys most popular power boat race to date. It started back in 1933 use to take them over 3hrs to do the run now its taking around 35mins crazy.
Water skiers race over a 120kms (75mls) through a river at WOT and you foot does not come off the throttle some of the boats that enter are doing well over 120mph crazy with skiers.
There is so many classes with the boats to many to list.
The last couple of years skis have been invited to compete but they only do half the course 62kms (39mls) the last couple of years we have skis entering in the excess of 82mph RXP stage 3 plus so yes SEADOO have been winning the last couple of years i think its time for a change don t you think.
Anyway I ve entered and can t be more than happy with my Lowell ported 1300 she on fire went out today for a test run with a few guys warmed the ski up and opened her up with a full tank of fuel and GPS reading spits out a 80.4 mph i was so rapped i could nt believe it with a full tank by the end of day i only lost 40rpms and speed stay constant 79 to 81mph the only time the ski looses allot of speed is through the bends this event is the best WOT for 62kms your finger does not come of the throttle and its a real test for your ski.
So guys its on in 2 weeks from what all the rumors floating around should have some pretty fast skis there and if Les Cooke shows up with his team of skis should be a very interesting event but i know one thing i might not win but my baby single pipe ski will give them a run for there money.
Lowell big thank to you she on fire WFO for you advice and Ross for the magic TBs.

There is only 1 mph difference normally. You can loosten the boat up a bit more with the 1200 grate.

Well, with the Bridge to Bridge over for another year,
In Open Class,
The leading ski (Joeblo GPR) suffered a broken house that filled the hull and had to pull out 3/4 of the way through.
Tods Turbo Kawasaki came in 1st (by country mile) then a few very worked RXP's followed by Mike's GPR in 6th place and me in 7th... so not a good day for the GPR's... but hopefully next year with a few things already in the works... the GPRs will be further towards the top.
In Stock Class
GP1300R came in first followed by an 07 RXP, so the GPR at least got up in that class
