06 ECU vs 05 ECU
Is there a difference in the ECU ? Doesn't the 06 go to 8200 with 20 increments. My 05 ECU only really goes to 8100. Could I benefit from a 06 ECU ?

Do u think the price u would pay would be worth 8150 vz 8200??

the RPM increments is in the GAUGE, not the ECU. go buy a tiny tach if u want to see more accurate tach readings. I been thinking of getting a separate external digital tach that reads in ones and is real accurate just bc i dunno how much i trust the stock gauge cluster tach... that and just bc i want another gauge so it looks special, lol
but really... upgrading from an 05 to an 06 ECU is just silly. do it right and get an aftermarket racing ECU

My ski will never get above 8100 even before I had the propped pitch and know I was way over. I was thinking that maybe it might be work the extra 100 rpm if I ever salvaged one.
just curious though...
Shibby's probably right might as well go with an aftermarket ECU but I'm going to wait a couple years for aftermarket since it voids the warranty.

Thats the same reason reason Im not going crazy on my ski , I refuse to void the warranty .. .I only add stuff i can quickly and easily remove should my s/c or motor ever pass away ....

Might get an 04 rxp someday when I'm maxed out on mine in 3-4 years and then just rag out the 04 which would probably go for dirt cheap.
