Never done the TENNESSEE 600, but some of us from the Nashville area do a 200+ mile run up the CUMBERLAND RIVER several times a year.

I have talked to a few folks that have done the 600 mile trip, its like a week trip, and way to organized for me, our 200 mile trip is just a bunch of folks that like to ride, and we do it all in one day......

It's really a smooth trip. A lot of seat time though.
The Cumberland River is all twists and turns with a lot of scenery.
If you can run 87 octane and have a dependable ski it is not much hassle at all. 100 miles upstream, lock thru to Cordell Hull Lake, gas up, cheeseburger, and head back.

    Hey Carver,
thanks for the reply... I will look further into it. I doubt that i will be able to do it this year- prior engagements but the website is pretty interesting makes me want to make time to do it!
    thanks for the reply...
oh... and 87 octane? I dont know if i would run my ski on 87.. infact i dont think that many would... It calls for higher... but with prices the way they are... it's got a bigger tank thank my 4 runner!!
