    R&D 4tec/SC filter vs Riva

    have 05- GTX ltd-(RXT)
    R&D vs Riva
Age old Question I am sure-
R&D filter properly connects the OEM crankcase ventilator!-Riva does not?
    RD-solas 14/19 or riva solas 14/17r?
Want top speed on smooth water-!
    - don't need grate-?

? any R&D parts on this site?
    Thanks

Both filter kits have provisions for crankase hook-up.

R&D you get a length of 3/4 hose and elbow to add to exsisting vent hose that connects in end of filter.
Riva, you attach stock hose to nipple on plastic tube. Since I have a GTX I had to modify the hose to get it to align...PR...

are parts here really cheaper than Riva page?

    How is lead time-shipping?

Are parts sent from here or riva?

R & D for me if i had the riva setup would have drowned the motor bynow and on the RXP the motor breather just plugs in the filter loosen clip and turn the breather pipe

I run the R&D on my skis. It is easy to install and seems to work good. Ive seen anywhere between .6mph - 1.2mph gains just from the R&D air intake, no prop change or anything else... Everybody seems to think the Riva sucks in cooler air because it is further forward, but i cant see it making a huge difference. The Riva also seems more prone to water ingestion because it is lower and closer to where water comes in. Either one will yield good results that will be pretty close to each other. I just like the R&D more.

I bought a used 14/19 from ebay for about 180-200 then had dave at impros do a stage 3 with race finish on it and repitch it to 13.5/17.5. Now that I'm at stage 2 he has repitched it to a 14/18.5
