    OP rideplate difference

It was suggested to get a new rideplate, I started to look around for one, not many choices out there for '94 SL750, I wanted to know from some of the experts here, What is the difference between the OP ride plates

OP "R" is longer than stock, but shorter than the OP "O" plate. It's the race plate that allows good top speed with improved handling. The "O" is the ocean plate that is much longer than stock and provides better handling in the ocean. It will scrub a little top speed as it won't allow the nose to come up much. Both provide goos acceleration with excellent handling and tracking.
