I was told by Riva R&D that sea-doo builds for 300 hours on motor, As long as you maintain your ski and replace wearable parts.

i seen where a na 155 4-tec motor went 1000 hrs i'm sure the s/c motors wont last as long the weak point on the s/c motors is of course the s/c get rid of the cermanic washers and dont let the bearings stay in to long to b safe change them at 100 hrs at 8100 and at 50 hrs at 8500 maybe even sooner. just had my gtx motor apart at 100 hrs to put fordge pistions in and all of the barings look good in it

Just have to give it some TLC when it needs it, just like every other engine.

That Sea-Doo has over 1200 hrs on the original motor.

why would u rebuild a motor if compression is good and it is running fine?????????????????????? You dont rebuild your car motor every 15,000 miles just for fun do you??

We have had two go over 130 hours in the uk with no probs at all and we know of several in the 90's. We are keeping our rxt for at least another 2 years without any concerns. Change oil every 25hrs, filter every 50. . Even the more modern 2-strokes seem to handle 100+ hours no problem.

Most ppl mod the ski after 100 hours. If they just maintained them and kept the sc in good shape, I believe a SC'd could go a thousand hrs.

    Rock solid bottom ends.
