RR ECU Install on 04 RXP....
I just installed my RR ECU that I bought used and followed the install instructions.
Because the ECU was second hand and had already been matched to another throttle body my ski idles at 2000rpm instead of the 1800rpm with the stock ECU.
Is this the only affect it will have?
Will it run OK except for the high idle?

OK I understand that,
But if I want to run it as it is will it perform as it should apart from having a high idle?

If it's not reading correct TPS at idle it's not reading it correctly at WOT so performance will be off.

I had idling problems with my ski. It would bog down and shut off with a random ECU. I figured TPS. So I take a throttle body and ecu from a ski where they've been mated and it still runs 1300-1600 idle

Not a good idea then, does anyone know where to send the ECU to be reset and how much it is?
Fizzle, could your problem be a bad air mass sensor or something similar?

I think you have to send it to Rotax in Austria or something for around 80 EUR?
Where are the sensors located on the ski that I should check for? What does your ski idle at out of the water?

There is an air sensor on the intake next to the ECU, try swapping that out?
I think these skis are meant to idle at about 1800rpms, mine does with the stock ECU.
