    Difference in stock X chargers?

I have noticed that some X chargers have different cases ... mine has four 'lugs' that stick out the front of the case and more webbing on the rear case, as well as a different part number (6867154) vs some 'old-style' cases with the 867151 number. Anybody know why the difference and if it matters at all??

Maybe a couple upgrades ... check out this thread ... http://greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=54862 the black SC is an X charger and the front housing is clearly 867151, which is the old style. My front housing says 6867154, yet some X front housings are showing in fiche as 867155 ... who knows?? My inlet ID is 2 mm bigger than my other superchargers, you can easily see the impeller blades by looking into the discharge outlet, the impeller is identical to the one in MPower's thread above, has the hole drilled in the shaft housing, the spring washers are a bit thicker and it has the gold colored clutch washers. It almost seems there might be three different housing variations for the X chargers ...

I will try to post pics tonight.

OK, now that the pics loaded, hopefully you can see the front housing part number of 6867154, the four 'lugs' protruding out, and on the back, the large X ribbing on the discharge tube, as well as the oil hole in the shaft.

That is the factory X-charger, they have the 4 studs sticking out, not sure what they are 4 but I know they all have it.

Well that is good to hear, but now I wonder about some other X charger pics that show a front housing that looks like non-X chargers ...
