Do not ride with that grate... Throw it in the trash.. It will pitch you... How do i know this? I did a similar cut 2 years ago, it was a disaster...

thats looks lke R&D single bar intake, supposed to be for rough water set up or C/C racing (for some reason I think they do not make any more-hint) will work fair at low speed
(unless some has been griding on it) best mod cut in half and throw in garbage

    later CD

That is a CC race grate - designed for holeshot

Perfectly safe with a ski set-up for racing
    - stock plate, or Riva/R&D plate with rear shimmed down
    - use a 0 or 3 degree pump nozzle

As already mentioned, it should be not used with a Jim's or IR angled aftermarket rideplate

Don't throw it out, I have a buddy that would use it if you don't want it.

Just used a single bar unmodded grate this weekend and was pretty happy with the results. Holeshot was great and top speed was about the same as the 2 bar 1200. Keep in mind I have some pretty serious pressure relief mods tho. Speed was close to 80 with an FF plate. If the wind wouldn't have been so bad it would have been well over 80.
