Modify Intake grate
Any one tries this mod in single bar grates???
What benefits wives this mod???
How many cuts I can do in this grate???
Any one knows more mod to this grate???
Any one saw more pictures of single bar grates mod???

Do not ride with that grate... Throw it in the trash.. It will pitch you... How do i know this? I did a similar cut 2 years ago, it was a disaster...

I do not recommend grinding/cutting ANY grate! These stupid things are brittle out of the box.BE CAREFUL.

That is a CC race grate - designed for holeshot
Perfectly safe with a ski set-up for racing
- stock plate, or Riva/R&D plate with rear shimmed down
- use a 0 or 3 degree pump nozzle
As already mentioned, it should be not used with a Jim's or IR angled aftermarket rideplate
Don't throw it out, I have a buddy that would use it if you don't want it.

Just used a single bar unmodded grate this weekend and was pretty happy with the results. Holeshot was great and top speed was about the same as the 2 bar 1200. Keep in mind I have some pretty serious pressure relief mods tho. Speed was close to 80 with an FF plate. If the wind wouldn't have been so bad it would have been well over 80.
