salt water gets in every where , dries then gets sucked in , adds to my GAS in oil theory , bad rings

not when if anything the dried salt would be more likely to assist in deglazing the bore if it did any thing at all.
even dust would in a very crued kind of way keep the rings from glazing ,thus in a ugly way help with GIO if you want to think those kind of funny thaughts!!!
but dont take my opinion on the matter , I have a filter screen on my high flow intake I made, just for this reason to stop water from entering the engine, I know it wont stop water if swaped but will stop splashs going in and any big pieces
buy from GH STORE,Riva
by the way not being smart, just saying dont worry to much about small things, if KAWI didnt put it on must not be needed that bad, as if they felt it would cause warranty issues , it would be there from factory.

Yea it worries me to.
Maybe they were thinking the intercooler would help catch the bigger particles.
Anyone know what our compression should be?

The Sea Doos do not have a filter either. If you are that worried get and Riva intake kit, but make sure you cover the filter when washing the engine.

Yea, Green Ultra on the way! was considering an RXT-X but my buddy just got one and did not want to rain on his parade. I had an 07 Ultra a year ago but ran from the fuel consumption and GIO, The 08 is much improved. Trust me guys wait until the feedback for SHO comes in, its gonna get interesting in the Yami forum
