    Ultra 150.. top end speed

    After reading many fourms i cant find what im looking for so here we go.. I have an ultra 150 with a ski worx stage 1 kit. TDR water box and after market flame arrestors. i can only get to 65.9 A stage 1 kit for those who dont know comes with R&D heads. carb mod and exhaust mod as well as solus 16/20 and pump rebuilding. i also have the R&D extended nozzle.

    So with that being said were should i start looking?????

    What are your rpm's? Stock plate, grate?

    i have been reading greenhulk for a year now and justed signed up!! wonderful place.

    Yes the are GPS numbers, stock ride plate and such.. the only thing done out back is a solus 16/20 and extened nozzle..

    OH and Rpms were 7100-7200 on that diga crap gauge

    Well thats wonderful want to trade??? i dont know what the deal is here.. its get to 65 quick as hell.. but wont go any faster..

    Lots of variables that could be holding you back.
    Condition of hull. Where you ride. Elevation although your location seems like about sea level.

    Condition of pump and impeller. Maybe pump needs to be reshimmed

    And thew jetworks mod I never have found any good info on that thing saying what rpm's are gained or mph. All I know is hole shot is supposed to be improved. But nobody has any real data anywhere.

    ANd I have looked. It could be holding you back who knows.

    And some ski's are slower than others but you should be about 67 or so.

    how do those items above pertain to your ski...??

    Well the hull its good never beached.. it is 8 years old. the impeller is brand new and shimmed with 6 hrs on it.. i will put it out and check it again. the jet thing does help to turn and may help holes shots.. donno and it looks cool duh but i will try my stock jet nozzle. i dont have a ride plate or intake.. hum im jsut trying to get to 68 i think im capable. with the mods i have.. jsut a matter of finding out whats holding back. im only 140 lbs..

    level 1 top end

    Most of the time its a hull issue that causes too much drag. The other thing that comes to mind is too rich on the jetting.

    Your not running an aftermarket intake grate are you?
