Need help with throttle body
I dropped my 2003 1300r off for the throttle cable recall last week. I was truely having a problem with the throttle and the recall was just good timing.
I was under the impression that it was just the throttle cable stuck that was causing the ski not to start. The dealer called today and said the throttle plate on the throttle bodies is siezed.
Has anyone ever heard of this? Is this something that can be fixed? They told me yamaha doesnt just sell the plate. Only the entire throttle body as a whole.
They are willing to put on another assembly for the 2 hours labor if i supply it since the ski is apart right now.
Does anyone have a spare throttle body assembly they are willing to sell?

I bet Ross can help with this one. Wasn't there sometimes an issue with the TPS when you just switch TB's from boat to boat?
