    Just gettin started

I have an 06 GP1300 that is stock besides a paint job cause i couldnt stand looking at that ugly yellow anymore. Wanted to start puttin on some mods to increase speed. I only go to Lake Havasu with it and just want to be faster than most of the other stock PWC's out there. I really only want to spend around $500 to $750 at this time. Of course more in the future. So just trying to get some ideas. Thanks 4 the feed back

The best gain for the money is a modded plate.

Well be prepared to spend more than that on the first mod.

    First... Tunnel reinforcement
Must have on any GPR due to the weak tunnel

    Second... Intake Grate
The stocker will pitch you off at any speed higher than stock

    Top Speed mods...
    Remove stock air restriction
Best buy for first mod = Modified Ride Plate 4-5 MPH if tuned properly

    Hole Shot mods...
    Stepped sponsons - Free
Flow Control valve/jetworks mod/island holeshot mod - This is a great mod
Pump Plug Kit - reduces cavitation

Also you should by a tach and gps for tuning your ride!

In the end if you do the work yourself you are looking at $1300+ for parts and chemicals needed. That's if you are smart about it.

You can get most of the parts you need at www.4-tecperformance.com and get 10% off Riva and R&D by entering coupon code 'greenhulk'!

You the search function to find out specifics about the mods listed here. There is alot to learn on this forum. It will take alot of reading to understand it all. The GPR has been here for sometime and alot of knowledge has progressed because of that.

    Welcome to the Forum!
