RXPX PUMP SWITCHED TO rxp pump 14/19r
we are doing some testing over here in oz, and we were playing a 14/19r prop out of a rxp, and what we wanted to do was replace the prop from the rxpx to do some testing.
When we took it to the dealer he just bolted on the rxp pump direct to the rxpx. CAN THIS be done safely? Are the pumps the same?

Well, it fits but trust me, u just put it hard on the limiter and lost speed....too big of an exit nozzle and not enough pitch. U cannot go smaller on the exit nozzle w/o risking being bucked off and hurt. U wanna go fast on the X? We can do it, but it will holeshot just like all the other modded 215s.

I've been working between my rxp and an x ski and did notice that the water inlets on the pump shoe are different... If this is the case how do the pumps match up?

We swap them just fine. The x pump is suppose to be heat treated that is why the part # is different.

Back when i was looking at making the 800 grates for the GPR out of aluminum we were going to heat treat it for strength
