13/19 or Nujet
I searched around but couldn't find anything that answered my question...
Some of you have seen my WTB ad in the classifieds for a Solas 13/19, but i'm wondering if a Nujet impeller would be better?
I plan on just putting on a plate, intake grate, PPK, and impeller this year, so no engine work. Would a Nujet prop be too tall for lake rec riding (with a few speed runs)? Or would the 13/19 be more appropriate?

13/19 will have a better holeshot
Nujet will be 2 mph faster
so it becomes personal preference, I always preferred the Nujet

Little spin out of the hole from the Nujet from past testing,BUT,it pulls harder than the Concord 13/19 from the mid range to the top.I loved my Nujet 6.5

That sounds good, guys, but i'm worried that it'll be too much prop for a stock engine...
How does the Nujet holeshot compare to a stock prop? I'm still running a stock prop with no PPK, so I get pretty bad cavitation out of the hole.
And is there a huge difference between a Nujet 6 and a Nujet 6.5?

There were nujet's running 80+ on GPR's and 73+ on XLT's as far back as 2001.
On a stock ski it would be a toss-up. If you go the NUJET 6.5 route ( which is the one you want - not 6.0 ) You will have to depitch it to run on a stocker.
This was also one of the "big secrets" back then why 100% stock motored 1200R's were touching 72's+ with the nujets and our modded rideplates.

Ok.. here'e the buzz question..
What makes a Nujet different from a 13/19 Solas? Or a 14/20? Or a Dynafly?

So it seems that for the purposes of rec-riding on a (mostly) flat water lake with a stock engine, and only a grate and angle plate will be a 13/19?
I see the Nujet on a lot of applications where the engine's been modded slightly (milled heads, jetted carbs).

Just throw on a Pro-tec rec head (150psi) and run the Nujet, you will love the combo.

I'm leaning towards the 13/19 for right now. Next year, i'll jet the carbs, add some milled heads and the Jetworks valve dealie, THEN i'll get a Nujet.
