Race Engineering block off material thickness?

Anyone that has a set would you mind sticking a set of callipers to them and tell me the thickness? I'm thinking seriously about making a set for my RXT since they are not available and want to know how thick the material is that they used and decide if my sheetmetal brake will handle it. I'm assuming that it is aluminum.

Hey hoss if you could take good measurements of the RE block offs i would be greatful. My dad owns a metal fab business and i was planning on making some for my rxp but i'd need to start from scratch with my rxp. Some measurements would be sweet and i'm sure we could make them a better fit too.

P.S. if you know any Auto CAD or Soild Works it would be a quick process

I have no access to either anymore. Maybe CAD is still in shop puter. I`ll see. I could take pics for you and tell you what should have been done. We`ll get together this week.

Firefox.. I got the drawing your need for an RXP. What's you email?

Drew them up in AutoCAD and saved as a .dxf . Lemme know if that format works for you then I can shoot you over the files.

my dad and i have been discussing making some of the RE blockoffs for you guys with RXT's and GTX's since he works at a sheetmetal company. He thinks he could cut them out with the waterjet and then weld it together just like the RE ones. I have them for my RXP and they are amazing and i think it sux that you guys with 3 seaters can't get them, so why not make them! All he needs is some measurments and he will see what he can do.

Steve..... i don't have access to a 3 seater right now and im guessing that would be the only way to get a measuerment is by using the blockoffs i have and match them up with ur ski or any 3 seater. if we can some how get measurments i think we could have some made.
