First ride on the the 1400 Trpple GPR this week

I took it out on Monday. After warming it up and checking for leaks it was time to take it out. Rode it mildly for awhile and then opened it up a bit (keep in mind the pistons were already broke in, just the pipes and carbs are new) Wow! what a difference! This ski pulls so hard now. Where it use to fade out it just keeps pulling harder and harder. It turned the 15/25 prop no problem. I haven't GPS'd it yet but it has to be 70+. I was getting 65ish before on the single pipe and stock carbs.

I just want to thank everyone on the forum. This forum is a wealth of information. It's nice to get help from people who understand that not everyone is an amazing mechanic.

It will also be fun to ruin some peoples dreams that spent 13K at the lake this summer
    Thanks again guys!

    - Mike

Wow, with that combination you should be 85-88 on a 1200 grate with a holeshot from hell.. Hang on.... And enjoy the adrenaline...

it could be.... It was really choppy and I knew it was still just a little on the lean side. It was definitely hard to hold on to.

Mostly Draper. I live in Moore. I sometimes go to Thunderbird as well. PM anytime you guys want to meet out. It would be fun to exchange ideas and tricks. My new project is a 95 XP 800 Limited I jut won on bay. Should be here in a few days.

I did richen it up as much as I could. The color was about right. I have a feeling though when summer gets here I will have to jet up a bit.
