I was just on eBay and came across this item:
Looks like a BS item to me, but has anyone seen or tried anything like this?

Has anyone tried it? I am guessing its like a resistor we used to put on Ultra 150's to fool the ECU in to thinking it is running cooler than it is, thus adding more fuel. I know when we did it to the 150's it helped a lot on bottom end..........

Hey guys, I'm not saying I'd put it on my ski, but..... the guy has a good rating in the UK and there are positive comments from those using his "+25hp" devices on the numerous products he sells them for.

Do you get a free set of Ginzu knives when you place

Since the only input to this device is the IAT and there are no outputs (other than the 1 signal to the ECU), then the only thing this does is change the reading the computer gets from the IAT (intake air temperature sensor). The same thing can be done with a simple variable resistor or a fixed resistor (if you didn't want to adjust it). All this will do is trick the computer into thinking the intake temperature is lower/higher than it actually is which will make the mixture slightly richer/leaner. Don't waste your money. If you really feel you need to make the mixture richer/leaner then just buy a resistor. Just remember you risk damaging the engine.
