    impeller problem

    went to install new concord s/b 13/20 prop.removed stocker from 04gpr and slid on new one and tightened hand tight and it seems to be hitting.it doesnt turn.theres one big washer there is there supposed to be another washer?inever thought of this happening.

    It should go on with just the one big washer, unless someone cut too much off the inner hub when they SB (set it back). You can use a OEM GPR wrist pin thrust washer to set the prop forward a bit.

    set back impeller

    thANKS ,i'll have to try and find a washer,kind of a pain.Would think who ever did work on prop would check first to see if its right before they sell it.been waiting couple of weeks for it.

    If your local parts/dealer doesnt have a washer, I can send you one.

    washer

    ya that sounds okay,i'll look around for something today that might work.need washer that is thin.thinking that it is very close to be tightening on driveshaft threads just enough to clear hub pump from binding.if i cant find anything that will work i will let you know.thanks

    Since the pump is out you might want to check and see if the shaft han't walked back a little. Remove the cone and see if the nut and washer is tight. This would explain why the prop is touching the hub.

    1300 wrist pin thrust washers work perfect for spacing the prop forward.

    found washer

    i found a thrust washer off an old broken kaw 750 crank.just had one and it was enough.sometimes that old crap youve kept hanging around for years comes in handy.thanks for info guys.
