i just took the motor apart basically down to the block and..cleaned the carbs out...but it seems to really do the same thing..i have no idea how to tune the carbs what so ever...if you floor the throttle it boggs but if you give it slowly give it fuel it will rev all the way...

If you have no idea on how to tune a carb then how did you manage to clean/rebuild it ??

Not trying to be a smart azz but if they are not right you are wasting your time trying to tune it.

Did you change the fuel lines & check selector valve for blockage ??

1 1/4 turns out on low speed screw & closed on the high speed screws.

Why don't you list exactly what you've done so far, so we don't waste our time speculating...

Thanks for the list. Now we can help a bit. I'm very good with a Rochester Quadrajet...but it nor a Holley comes close to these Mikunis in operation. Non-vented carbs are a completely different animal.

Did you disassemble both sides of each carb, and clean the internal filter screens in each?
