    93 SP Enging Swap??

I was just curious. Is there any of the larger newer engines that will fit easily in the 93 SP? I am talking like maybe a 787. I don't want to do too much fab. I was hoping that one of the other engines will bolt right in.

    Anything?

If not, how hard would this be??

A 720 will bolt right in and with some simple mods will make that older gen 1 hull really fly..like mid 50's. Believe me, on that hull, mid 50's will fell like 80 on a rxp. Make sure you get a good prop to match or any motor work will be for nothing. 787 would require new motor mounts to be fabbed into the hull and while not hard, it's a lot of work and expense on a ski like that.

Nice!.... Now maybe I can go and pick up this ski for free and have a nice little side project now that I am done with my RXP.

Now where is a good place to buy performance parts? PPG?

Do they make heads? I found cylinders, cranks, cams, handling parts..... I don't konw what all I am going to do, just to want to get all my ducks in a row.

I am looking just to have a fun little project and not dump too much money on it.

If you are going the 720 route just buy a Factory Pipe for it and don't do any other mods. Their pipe with stock airbox and compression really rips. But if you mod it further it becomes very unreliable. The 720 pipe is fuel critical, so if it gets lean once it squeaks a piston.

Best bang for the buck though!

How do you keep it from running lean?

I guess it wouldn't be good to bore it out to 83 than.

Just simply don't run it out of gas. Run it on reserve the whole time, so when it gets down below 1/4 and you are going balls to the walls through the chop...it won't run out.

The best way to eliminate it though is to never let it get below 1/4 tank.

BTW...Worx may have a setup for 720's that make them reliable. I've never owned a 720, but have had buds struggle with theirs after modding them.
