    Ran an RXT-X today

    Water was soo smooth and got to do a few runs with my buddies 10hour RXT-X. My RXP-X has 13 hours on the clock. Both skis have Riva intakes.
    Out the hole he squeezed first, we hole shot together, then at around 40 I started pulling away and more as we topped out. He was GPsing 67 @ 7800RPM I was at 70 @ 8040RPM. These results were in salt water and water temps around 86 degrees.

    Check out the sound of my rocket in this video;

    An RXT-X does not run 67mph @ 7800rpms! I know, I have an RXT-X. You must have a fast GPS.

    Might have something to do with the dense salt water down here?? All of my props had 2mm out to pull Riva's posted RPMs. I hope you arent using your speedo for RPM vs Speed ?

    U mean you didnt hear the afterburner kick in? No seriously you can here the S/C wine at the start. I wish you-tube showed the orginal clear video so you guys could see how quickly the RPMs and Speed come up.

    My T-X runs 71mph @ 8,060 on my speedo, which in reality is 64.5mph on the GPS. I am at 800ft. elevation and on fresh water. My T-X is bone stock. The people who boast of their 70mph stock speeds is just plain B.S.!

    You know Phil, I am sorry that your stock speeds have been so slow. I am new to modding, but I can honestly say that I have only posted GPS speeds. I really don't think it is hard to believe that these RXTX machines are doing almost 70 stock. I guess that's why you will sell yours though and I will continue to see what she will do.
