    1 Degree of Pitch = 300 RPM's??

Guy's I have a speedster S200 with tons of mods but right now I have the stock 4 blades re pitched from 10/21 top RPM's of 7800. Then I cleaned up the intake grate and polished some of the pump then polished the impellers and re pitched them to 10/19 and now I'm turning it to 8400 to 8500 rpm's on the limiter. Glen at Skat wants to re pitch to 10/20's thinking it will drop 300 R's. Man I just don't no. I know they were supposaly10/21 to start with but it hits the limiter so hard I can't see one degree dropping it 300. What do you guy's think????

I had a 14/19 on a stage one RXT then I saw 7800. Went to 14/17.5 and saw 8100(might have been more though). You can do the math...

From most of the re-pitch posts that I have read on here you see roughly 200-300 revs when you add or remove a degree. I think you'll see 8200-8300 with a degree increase. Get it off the rev limiter and you'll see your mph go up

Somefun, I promise to get mine out this week and update you on my 12/19 repitch. I haven't used my 3 blade and am almost considering returning it based on your results...poor holeshot and the vibration. What do you think?

I don't think they would take it back Yuji. I wish they would because I'd send mine back but I can't see them taking them back. I think I'm going to go back the 10/21 I'm hitting 8300 to 8500 it's hard to say because there are no numbers letf on the tac when its that high.

I'm going to call them today and see what they say. The 8000 rpm tach sux, may have to find an inexpensive digital tach to verify rpm...more $

Yuji how'd you make out with Skat? I may try to have them put some more pitch in my 3 blades and see how that goes. If it isn't much better I may see if Glen will swap them out for 4 blades.

I called Glen and he really wants me to try the 13/17 first before I make a judgement call. Going by your experience with that pitch (cavitation, less acceleration) I can't see me with less power being able to spin it. I'm working on the boat tonite and if I get it all done I'm going out tomorrow to try my 12/19 stock repitch.

did he say he'd take it back? you may want to see if you can get a four blade from him when you find out what pitch you need. my fastest speed yet was with the 3 blade at 8400. I'm going to see what it will do if we change it to 13/19 I think it may run 68 ,69.
